Buzz's Boys Back on the Court for Three Games This Week from Al Kelly

Now that finals are over its time to get back on the basketball floor for Buzz's boys. They face three games over the next six days.


First up is Northern Colorado on Saturday afternoon at 3:00PM at the Bradley Center. This game should be the easiest as its against a 3-6 Big Sky team who lost the majority of its scoring from last year's 21-11 NCAA team.

On Monday MU faces a quick trip down south to Baton Rouge, LA to face a good SEC team, LSU who is 7-3 on the season so far. They are long and athletic with 5 players 6'9" or more. Their three losses have come by 8 points or less and one of their wins was a road victory at Rutgers.

The last game before the holidays is against our Milwaukee rivals from UWM in the Bradley Center on Thursday night. The Panthers are 8-3 so far with their last loss coming in a hard fought game against Wisconsin 60-54. UWM is considered one of the favorites in the Horizon League. Marquette better remember last year's close victory in the Arena and not take them too lightly.

With three wins this week MU could move into the top ten in the polls.
