Marquette University forward Jamil Wilson admitted to feeling just a wee bit weary the day after the Golden Eagles' victory at DePaul on Feb. 6.

And for good reason. It had been a long night for Wilson who had played almost the entire game.

"The day after you definitely feel it," recalled the 6-foot-7 sophomore from Racine. "That's the first time I played anywhere close to that much and I definitely felt it the day after.

Sophomore forward Jamail (Mellow) Jones has not been called on often this season but when his name has been called, he’s delivered.

Jones, who at 6-foot-6 and 210 pounds is serving as Marquette’s backup center these days, played 15 minutes in Saturday’s victory over Cincinnati and scored consecutive three-point baskets during an important Golden Eagles’ run late in the first half.
