By now you all probably know MU beat Wisconsin in Madison Saturday. Final score Marquette 61 Wisconsin 54. MU held the lead the entire second half and a good part of the first half.
Neither team shot well but Marquette had a big advantage on the offensive boards and in second chance points. Wisconsin's All American point guard candidate Jordan Taylor picked up several early offensive fouls and spent as much time on the bench as on the court. DJO led Marquette in scoring with 17 points and freshmen Todd Mayo chipped in with 14. All eleven MU scholarship players made contributions to the victory.
This year's Warrior Review website is now up for you to view at your leisure. Like last year there are game recaps, videos, player and coach profiles, an up-to-date schedule, and links to the polls including the current CBS Sports RPI rankings. Would you believe we currently rank 3rd in the country? How long will that last?
Buzz and his crew will be playing in the Jimmy V Classic tonite at 8:00PM CST against Lorenzo Romar's Washington squad. This game will be another early season battle against an elite team.
GO WARRIORS!!
It was that…2100 start time on east coast tonite. That sucks
